Cedarville University is a private, Baptist institution located in southwest Ohio. Students at Cedarville can choose from around 150 areas of study and must earn a Bible minor. Cedarville’s emphasis on faith also seeps into student life outside the classroom, with daily chapels, mission trips, and even a student-run, Christian rock station called Resound Radio. The university is also home to HeartSong gospel groups and 150 ministry teams that sing and serve at chapels across America. Cedarville students can also get involved by joining one of several students organizations, attending events such as the Foreign Film Series, and playing on one of the nearly 20 varsity sports teams. The Cedarville Yellow Jackets compete in the NCAA Division II American Mideast Conference. Notable alumni include David Jeremiah, an author, speaker, and senior pastor of a California evangelical megachurch.
