American International College

American International College is a private institution that was founded in1885.Ithas a total undergraduate enrollment of 1,538,its setting is city,and the campus size is 58 acres.It utilizes a semester-based academic calendar.American International College’s ranking in the 2013 edition of Best Collegesis Regional Universities (North),Tier 2.Its tuition and fees are $29,018 (2012-13).

Located in Springfield, Mass., American International College  was founded in 1885 with the mission to educate international immigrants traveling to the United States through New York. Today, AIC is a small, private institution that offers more than 30 academic programs for undergraduate students and more than 10 master’s degree programs, including some in education and health. All academic offerings at AIC fall into the schools of arts, education, and sciences; business administration; health sciences; and continuing education. Classes at AIC are small, and there is campus-wide wireless Internet.

Students at American International College can get involved in more than 30 campus clubs, which includes about a dozen Greek organizations, student government, and The Yellow Jacket newspaper. Student athletes can play intramural sports or try out for the AIC Yellow Jackets varsity sports teams, which compete in the NCAA Division I in men’s hockey, and in Division II in the more than 20 other sports. Notable American International College alumni include U.S. Congressman Richard Neal, who represents Massachusetts’s Second Congressional District.
