Exploring Medical Careers

If you are one that only knows that you’d like a career doing “something related to the healthcare or medical field”, and when asked where you’d like to go to college, or what you’d like to study, you can only answer “I’m not sure”, then Exploring Medical Careers was built for you.

This Exploring Medical Careers website was put together with large databases of US colleges, medical field related degrees, and healthcare and medical careers. If you spend a little time clicking around the site, it won’t be long at all before you’ll be able to confidently answer the above questions with “I want to go to college at ‘this college’, I plan to study and get a degree in ‘this degree’, and upon graduation, I plan to pursue a career in ‘your chosen career’.”

Not sure what you'd like to do in the future? Start here and investigate possible healthcare and medical field careers. Filter them by the numbers of years of study the career requires (ie a 2 year associates degree, or a 4 year bachelors degree), or by the job outlook (how easy will it be for you to find a job upon graduation). Then order the careers by starting or median salaries. When you find a career that interest you, we will easily lead you to the degree required, and from there, to the various colleges that offer that degree. Then filter the colleges by state, or by ACT (or SAT) required for admittance. We'll give you all of the information you'll need to help you make a college choice. (Note; Information on careers and salaries have been compiled from the governments Bureau of Labor Statistics site (http://bls.gov))
